During the SEÇBİR- Teachers Network talk titled "Gender States of Physical Education", Canan Koca addressed issues such as gender practices in physical education classes, performance-based sports and body training. In addition to seeking answers to questions such as "Why should we care about gender equality in the field of physical education?", "How can we conceptualize physical education as a social field?", "What are the practices of somatization and gender in physical education?" and "Can physical education be an area where gender equality can be achieved?" using the concepts of Pierre Bourdieu, Canan Koca also proposed suggestions on how a non-gendered physical education lesson can be designed.
