How can we preclude from cyber bullying in students' lives?
Through the development of digital technologies, the way we express and perceive ourselves, communicate with others, in short our lives have changed drastically. Children born into this new world are using more intensively online platforms to access information, to learn and to socialize. The space and time limit that digital communication technologies eliminate has brought new and difficult problems to cope with. One of them is cyber bullying that 1 in every 5 children in Turkey are exposed to. So, how can we preclude from cyber bullying in students' lives?
The Creative Problem Solving Program, which seeks answers to this question, was held in Denizli in April and May. Teachers who participated in the program, which lasted for 4 weeks and 2 meetings, learned a new problem solving method by discovering the steps of Design Thinking methodology and implemented this method through the group works. Meriç Dönmez and Özlem Ünal who were previous participants and implementer of The Creative Problem Solving Program were executives and Adalet Eres, Ayşegül Tekinbaş Özyağcı, Hoşeda Ebru Kaynar and Seher Şener were facilitators as Change Agents at Teacher Network.
