Can Empathy be taught with Mathematics?

Can Empathy be taught with Mathematics?

On Wednesday, May 31, at Encounters, our guest Chris Garrett shared detailed information about Better World Ed. Better World Ed develops lesson plans guided by the videos shot in various parts of the world; these training materials that they produce add another dimension to mathematics courses. This formation, which was initiated in 2010, is based on the belief that the concepts of empathy, global awareness and social change can be taught through mathematics and literacy. The sharing of lesson plan examples and information exchange were followed by the question-answer session.
